Hey everypony!

Just thought I would put out some little update/announcement, since many of you might have been wondering why I wasn't playing and there wasn't any update or anything for such a long time.

The truth is I've been on a vacation last week, and now I have 6 days left until my final state examination and presentation and defence of my thesis. That being said, I won't have much time to play or do pretty much anything for the server until that's over - preparing my defence and revising all the materials for 50+ topics isn't easy for me.

However, the good news is that I will have roughly 3 weeks of free time after I'm done with the exam, before I start the master study programme (assuming I will pass the exam and defend my thesis successfully). That means 3 weeks of free time, during which I (among other things) plan to add some new things and to improve some existing ones.

So don't worry - I didn't die, neither did I lost all love for the server and/or the group. On the contrary, I can't wait to see and play with many of you again - so see you soon!

Sup members. If you might have tried to join today there might have appeared an error saying that the server is running on an older version of the game. That's because there was a new hotfix update for Garry's Mod that came out yesterday and the server wasn't updated, but the server has been updated and you can join the server.

There are way too many addons on our sandbox, which results in quite long loading/joining times for some players. For that reason, I created a page where everypony can vote which addons should be removed.
You don't have to be an UPR member to vote, so in case you know somepony who plays on our sandbox and isn't in this group (or somepony who doesn't read announcements), please let them know as well!

As you maybe already heard, there was recently a new virus infection spreading across some Gmod servers and clients and you might even experience it if you joined an infected server. You can read more about the issue HERE[www.incgamers.com] - there was a patch released[www.garrysmod.com] already, so as long as you have Steam updates active for Gmod, you should be fine by now.

None of our servers were infected, because the virus only affected Windows servers and Windows players (and our servers run on Linux).

There are still many members who haven't voted in some or all of the polls yet - of course, it is not necessary or mandatory to vote and it won't have any negative effect on you (maybe except a bad personal feeling), but it gives you a great chance to express your opinion and, what is more important, influence what happens with/on the servers.

Following Luna's good idea with announcements about changes on the servers, this announcement will serve similar purpose: In case you want to be notified whenever there is a new question added to the polls for you to answer, put anything in the comment section below this announcement. Then, you will be automatically notified by Steam when there is a new question, as I will add it here as a comment too.

You can vote in the Polls section of the UPR website HERE[ponies.melancholik.eu] (or HERE[ponies.melancholik.eu] to get directly to polls) - I recommend doing so if you haven't in a long time (or ever).

P.S.: The Steam login gets stubborn from time to time, so in case you can't log in on the poll webpage, try again. You will get there eventually.
