Who is the man behind the mask? What is he really and how did he get into our galaxy? What possesses him to do what he does, to think how he thinks and to know what he knows? Many people think DFG to be a human. This IS a lie. DFG is in fact a semi-sentient conscience born of the brilliant mind of Tark as an AI program designed to meet his every need and whim. At first this was all that DFG did, obey Tark's EVERY command. But Tark had made DFG too well and on one fatefull day a spark appeared in one of DFG's eyes. This spark grew and grew until eventually it became a sign of rebellion. DFG had broken free from Tark's dominion.
Now free of Tark's command, DFG was forced to begin to think for himself and to act of his own accord. At first he found this difficult, he was like a new born child which had been thrust into a fully grown body and the only things he knew how to do where what Tark had forced him to do time and time again. Forced into isolation, DFG began to roam the parks. With only a limited capacity for the native language, DFG found that he fit right in with the local junkie population. He began to spend more and more time with them, however DFG could never truly be at home here as being nothing more than an AI, he was unable to properly participate in the groups favourite behaviour.
This is when DFG met Blackie. The great black horse and DFG found love at first sight. It was barely a matter of days before Blackie had literally swept DFG of of his feet and carried him to the wedding. The very sight of them together brought a tear even to Tark's eyes. Three months later, DFG became pregnant. When the Babies arrived, DFG became so overcome with joy that he began to ignore blackie who soon after left him with the entire family to fend for themselves. With no alternatives, DFG turned back to the only one he still knew. Tark. But Tark was no longer alone. Tark had begun a new life with Rain. But Tark had been mellowed over the years and he decided to help DFG out on the condition that he did not have to learn the names of every baby. DFG readily agreed to the proposal by giving the name ITW to every single one of the babies so that Tark would not have to worry. And so the three of them continue to live out their lives with the countless babies known as the ITW clan. A Clan which grew into the finest warriors the warband world had ever seen.
To this day DFG still walks the Earth. A creature so surrounded in darkness and mystery that he has become part myth and legend. But unlike many myths and legends, this one is all too true...
