Regarding the future of the Revival Committee:

Now that TV1 has transformed into a 32-player server, I will no work towards keeping the server filled daily. My reasons for this are as simple as I do not enjoy playing on 32-player servers, so it would be rather silly to force myself to play there. Because of this preference, the activities of the TV1 revival committee are ultimately dissolved: there will be no further progress reports or seeding sessions (hosted by this group).

However - TV1 is still very much alive and active. The official TheVille Seeding Group should be taking charge of that server since it's now of much interest to the administration. I would encourage anyone who does not mind the 32-player limit to continue to play on the server and allow it to thrive. While it may be displacing the core seeders from their home for the last two months - that's no reason to let any server suffer without a community.


As for the core seeders (most of the group officers), the majority of us are moving over to TV2 Customs until another opportunity presents itself. While we do not intend to revive the server into a place where you are always certain to find matches, we are most likely going to try to fill it for a few hours each night. If you do not mind custom maps and enjoyed the TV1 community, we'd appreciate any help on that server.
