Welcome to Loose Gear's Trove Steam Page.

This page will be a spot for Loose Gear's news and info inside the world of Trove, as well as help and suggestions amongst users. I am new to managing Steam Groups, but I will respond and inform the people here as much as needed.

The rules of Loose Gear's Trove Branch. Same as in Spiral Knights. Taken from http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Loose_Gear_(Guild) and edited for Trove Users. Basic rules and things. Be nice and other stuff:
1) "Keep it clean! - Using or linking to vulgar, obscene or offensive language or material is considered swearing. This includes any racial, sexual, unlawful, religious slurs, insults or other deliberately offensive remarks directed at another Trovian."
2) Officers and Leaders have final say in things.
3) No begging is allowed. Not to club members, not to fellow Trovians, not even to Boomeranger's Chickens!
4) Treat all Trovians with respect (no matter in LG or not)

Current Officers: Zem (Trove IGN: Zemrald), Gackt* (Trove IGN: Nick), C70 (Trove IGN: C70)

*Gackt opted to remain as "Member" in the Trove branch in order to prevent himself from causing damage when accidentally bombing the club world, but is still registered as an officer by means of his active status in the Loose Gear community (SK, Warframe, and Trove)

Having Trouble with Trove's Steam Workshop or ".tmod" Mods? Here is a solution to get them up again!

Trove's Eclipse Update had created issues with Steam Workshop Trove mods and other Trove mods using the .tmod File Format, this appears to be caused by an unnecessary override folder that was installed by the update. It can be removed without issues with Trove or the operating system.

This solution is based on a Windows Tutorial, and therefore guaranteed to work for those on Windows systems. Those on Mac OSX or using the WINE Emulator on Linux Systems may have similar issues but could potentially be solved by using the equivilent file explorer for their system.

1) Go to File Explorer (on Windows Taskbar, it looks like a File Folder). On Windows 7 PCs, you can also go into start menu and select "Computer"

2) Go to following address:
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Trove\Games\Trove\Live
(on non-steam version, it's C:\Program Files\Glyph\Games\Trove\Live)

* If Trove or Steam is installed on another hard drive due to changing installation path when installing (or after installation), use the hard drive that contains your Trove files

** If using 64-bit Windows and Trove or Steam folder is installed on the default settings, it will instead be on the installed hard drive in a folder named "Program Files (x86)"

3) In File Explorer, use search (if on Windows 7/8/10, it's on Top Right Corner) and type "override" (no quotes)

4) If any "override" folders are found in the search results, delete the folders. Again, It will not effect Trove and/or overall system functionality.

5) Enjoy having the ".tmod" and Steam Workshop Trove mods back on Trove

Trove's Eclipse Update brings Gem Rerolls and harder ST challenges.

Trove has released the Eclipse update that adds new features such as :

* More mounts, cosmetics, and recipes to stashes and chaos crafters
* More Stat-Boosting Dragons and Allies
* New level selecting map system (old adventure portals still work)
* Sub-Classes for characters (add a bonus perk to your character based on unlocked classes)
* Gem Rerolls and Gem Stat enhancments (no more Health Regen stat on Gems, unless you used a older gem)
* 2 new ST bosses and new ST loot rewards

As for Shadow Towers, ST difficulty has been intentionally buffed throughout the board due to the added bonuses. Normal is now the New Hard, Hard is the new Ultra, U8 Ultra is the new U9 Ultra, and U9 Ultra is now "Dark Souls: Hardcore Mode" (essentially a painful, rage-inducingly difficult mode best used by elite-built classes with optimal skillsets and gear).
So if you can solo DotM Ultra before the update, the Trove devs suggest going for Hard now.

As for the 2 new bosses, be very careful:

* Shadow Hydrakken can create acidic puddles and shadowy orbs that can damage people both on the ground and air, spawn minions that chase and attack players (like those from Vengeful Pinata God) as well as very heavy black holes that suck nearly anyone in the stage into point-blank range.

* Darknik Dreadnought can briefly make himself invincible from Magic Damage (Purple aura) or Physical Damage (Yellow Aura), snipe players with a precise heavy hitting shot, throw a scattershot barrage of napalm missiles and even nuke almost the whole stage with a massive blast, insta-killing all who cannot escape the blast in time.
