You've made too many requests recently

BS I didn't, this annoying error appears every time after I buy a single set of cards once! It didn't use to suck this badly, any reason this occurs?

I've encountered this error too a little after the Summer Sale started. I think that is for not overloading the market server with too many requests, because people (myself included) have waited the Sales to craft badges.

Makes zero sense as it used to be fine in previous sales. You can also buy cards individually which is hardly a solution (because it's inconvinient)

Yep at this point I get this error after creating one or two badges. At the start of the sale I could at least get through four or five, and before this sale I had never seen that error a single time in all my years here. I guess they do not want our money that badly anymore
