Bloodbath and Beyond's Information Page

For those of you who weren't there, we played the CSn team which was in my opinion the strongest of the teams, led by Lia Rein and Hobbes. We played stopwatch mode on steel and upward, and lost by half a second on steel. On upward, we failed to mount a defense and they captured all the points in 5:52. They boxed us in the second point, and we lost. We had three substitute players which all performed admirably under the circumstances. We had some issues however. Someone was switching classes, and me and their team leader had a discussion about it after the game. Had they reported us, we would have been ejected from the TPF cup entirely. Our pyro was unable to guard the engineer, and just W+M1'ed towards the enemy team, making it a playground for the spy. On defense, our engineer failed to set up his gear in time, and that was a huge disadvantage on upward. On steel however, he made a good nest and our team simply failed to use it to it's full potential. On offense, our sniper performed very well, dominating a member of the enemy team as well as killing many of their team. Me, as spy, I was in the top three for scorestreaks. I had a good game, getting lots of stabs on the cart and sapping their nest multiple times, as well as taking out the teleporter and sniper. On steel however, I was next to useless as all their team was crammed onto the second point. I nearly spycapped at the end, but one of them stood on the point in the last second, causing us to lose. Our demoman got some kills, however didn't get the sentry nest. The medic got many heals in, as well as multiple ubers. Our scout did a very nice job, bonking sentries and harassing their front line. The rest of the classes I didn't mention were simply due to the fact hat I didn't see them play, that being said if I missed an epic play you made and downgraded you above, please tell me. That said, seeing as the maps are pre-detirmined, I am making a practice on Wensday at 4:30 US Central. (The time can be changed, however it must be on a Wensday as we will have a game on the weekends, and I get it if you have conflicts.) We will run through defenses on all three maps, and we will then go out pubbing in our combos (pyro+engi, medic+soldier or heavy, etc.) to get a better feel for each other's playstyles. Try to be there, as this could be the difference between a win or a loss. Oh, and by the way, we are now in the loser's bracket, so don't worry about us getting knocked out first round. The other thing is I want to scold Chrisih01-TPF- a bit. He/she wasn't there, and gave me no notice of such. In addition, he/she was offline preventing me from contacting him/herself. I was forced to find a third substitute (thanks again to the subs, we couldn't have even played without you) while the other team waited patiently. So guys, the moral here is to pay attention to the announcements, times, and other methods of group communications in this very group. I'm not trying to make Chrisih01-TPF- feel bad in any way. I simply want to show the cost of not paying attention to the group pages, which can be very costly. This said, please message me if you can't be at the practice. I will then know who didn't read this as they won't show up and won't message me of any conflicts.
