Hello,
This is the group page for The Modified Gamers (or {TMG} for short).

We develop tweaks, maps, gamemodes and other stuff for Garry's Mod.

Current active developers are:
Nosjo and Roelof

Current active projects are:
Tank Wars, Code Orange

Current on-hold projects are:
Mirror's Edge, Bumpercars and Underdone

We don't develop 24/7 so it might take some time before stuff is released but we will try to keep the quality as high as possible.

For certain gamemodes, beta keys are required. These can be collected via various sources such as Twitter (@tmg_clan), the website (see links) and in-game (on one of our servers).

We hope you will concider joining us. If you do you will be marked as member and recieve extra rights on the server (for free? Yeah, ofcourse).

No workshop stuff

Hey everyone,

It's been mentioned in the comments, but there is an addon a lot of server owners are very fond of. This addon disables the workshop on servers, so the stuff with dupes and saves isn't abused (there is a lot of shit on there, which you don't want in your casual sandbox server).

However, these server owners didn't always read the description of the damn addon correctly, and added it to their servers "Resource Pack" or however they called them.

This means clients (you) have installed this addon, which disables your workshop on all servers and local games (since it's client side).

The addon we're talking about is the Workshop Disabler.

I made this addon a long time ago, and it's still widely being used, but as said before clients are installing this addon, which is not something you'd want.

If you've got this problem, please unsubscribe from the addon, this should solve the issue on local games. Servers that host this addon, however, will still disable your workshop (but only for your session on that server).

Hope this helps a lot of you who have this problem.

Just a quick update, as is also stated on my profile.

As I am spending more time on my study and social activities, my time available for development for Garry's mod lessens.

GMod is pretty hard to code for (LUA isn't the best of languages to code in) and the reward is slim (more annoying 12-year-olds who rage at anything than decent people who actually compliment you for something).

Concidering all of this, I have decided to shift my attention to projects that are more rewarding (and thusly I have more fun doing).

I wish you the best of luck in your endeavours and I might just make some tools that make coding easier, but don't bind me to this.

PLZ BACK DUPES AND SAVES!

Ok, I've figured out how to get your dupes and saves back. Im just some random guy, but listen, while joining some server, you could have accidentaly downloaded something called "Workshop Disabler". It explains how this page gets here. Go into your addons, and find it, and uninstall it. So they you go everyone who was having troubles.
