What is your favorite Zelda game and why?
Ocarina of Time comes first, that's for sure. The gameplay, mixed with the music; the overall tone of the game was amazing! There was an interesting melancholy about the game.. I remembered wondering what happened to Saria once the Forest Temple was over.. And pulling my hair out when playing through the water temple without a strategy guide. The awesomeness of Zora's Domain.. The layout of the game world was perfect, and the day/night cycle added a layer of depth to the world that is much more standard in today's games than it was back then.

Second, and the honorable mention for me, was Wind Waker. I remember getting high and playing that game and being floored by the art direction, the gameplay mechanics.. the open sea.. The story didn't stick with me as much, however.

All those Zelda games deserve an honorable mention.. Even the Game Boy one that was so good.
