Napoleonic Wars Roleplay

My dear fellow roleplayers,

I have to announce to you today, that the following days will be the last of the campaign.

You might be surprised now and you might ask "why". I shall try to explain this decision.

This server was originally founded by 5 people that met on King's. At first, we were seeking for a safe place where we could truly unfold our roleplay and enjoy each others company. So, on the 21st october 2015 "The Campaign Roleplay" booted up for the first time. We were original plebs, overwhelmed by the feeling of having our own server. We tried to diplomatically deal with trolls and failed. We abused our admin powers and made each other go boom in various ways.

But the server evolved and today it this group has about 350 members, with some being very active. We are not plebs anymore. We have developed a huge ruleset and system to keep the serious kind of roleplay going for the people that shared the same idea. But not all the improvements are a blessing. Some are a burden. The load of work grows constantly and the fun vanishes more and more. Plebs, that wanted to play, became servants. Now, don't get me wrong here. We had a bloody great time! We met so many great people, made new friends, had awesome roleplays. None of that will be forgotten. It will be valued. But we are so far from our original idea, that we decided to close this project.

The server will be shut down during the time of the 21st to 24th and will not boot up again.

I am grateful for all the experiences I gained, for all the lessons learned, for all the people I met, for all the feedback we got. So many great people, such a unique server, so many awesome things, that happened. Thank you.
