ALL Point-and-Click, Adventure, and HOG Games

This is a group dedicated to finding, organizing, and (in time) thoroughly reviewing all point-and-click, adventure, and hidden object games available across Steam.

What makes us different than a typical adventure game curator?

The function of the group is not just to recommend products to our members, but to provide a place where all of these products can be found and accessed in one place. This means that as long as the game falls under the genre, it can be found here, despite the admin's personal preferences. This means unless the game is REALLY, REALLY bad, it will be considered as "recommended" to you simply because it falls under the point-and-click, adventure, and/or HOG genre.

How and why did we form?

The Adventure Collection was started by me after having spent hours exploring the Steam Store, curator pages, recommended tags, "similar game" lists, developer titles, etc. and stumbling across hidden gems that are incredibly hard to find. After years of quietly collecting these gems, a nagging idea kept creeping its way in: Wouldn't it be great if there was ONE place that everyone could go to find games with the tags we love? And not just a handful of those games, but ALL of them? Thus, The Adventure Collection was born.

The future of The Adventure Collection

While there is only one administrator of this group at the moment, my goal is to eventually have a whole group of administrators with varying preferences, standards, and expectations of Adventure Games. This way, our members can get a more well-rounded idea of which games they may like from the point-and-click, adventure, and HOG genre.

The group is still in its infancy, which means that not all point-and-click, adventure, and HOGs have been added yet. Over time, we will continue to add more and more of these games as we come across them.

What is your role?

Ultimately, it is the member's choice which game from these genres they want to play without the bias of curators who may only have a singular preference. In time, all games with point-and-click, adventure, or HOG tags will be housed here for easy access.
