We are the 3rd Infantry Division - a realism based unit for Day of Defeat: Source. A realism unit is not just any old clan: we use period ranks and tactics,and a realistic chain of command. We are part of a growing community of realism units and we hold matches against each other regularly.

The 3rd ID was re-founded in May 20014 by McLaughlin, Kain and Thomas. Each of these three founders put forth their time and effort to create a backbone for the 3rd ID. The 3rd ID is currently recruiting, building a solid and secure unit before making its debut in the competitive realism scene. Rock of the Marne!
