I've pushed a rudimentary change that'll stop the exponential interval declaration. I'll get a rework of that entire section of tf2b.js ASAP. Beyond that I think it's probably about time a rate limiter was implemented.

A flaw in the server configuration created a situation where a certain number of notices causes 502 gateway errors. I'm looking into the gateway configuration now after fixing said notices.

Edit: Okay, that configuration issue should be dead for the forseeable future.

I think I know what is causing this, I'll see what I can do.

Edit: Fixed the primary cause, will attempt to make sure these kind of errors can't happen again in the future, so this may briefly reoccur in the future.
