With my gaming mood bordering on lethargy due to Grand Theft Auto’s excitement horrifically dwindling, I decided it best to download the Bourne Conspiracy demo on XBox Live. After making several cups of tea and treating myself to a whole bunch of left over cigarette ends I found in a gutter, the demo was finally ready to play after a loathsome download time.

Upon starting the demo up you’re shown an unfamiliar face due to the fact that Bourne is no longer played by the most hamster faced of actors but instead by some blue eyed brown haired dodo only grandmothers and giggly cheerleaders could find attractive in a protagonist of what should only be a badass game series.

It’s a not so sunny day in Warwickshire, however when VVV were invited along to see final code of Race Driver Grid, we simply couldn’t resist. There are some developers who have so much experience within a genre that when they bring out a new title, the industry takes note and when Codemasters move into racing it simply can’t be ignored.

Today I was lucky enough to attend a preview for Alone in the Dark, the newest survival horror title to hit the market this June. The event was held at the very classy Everyman Cinema in Hampstead and was also a mix of press and competition winners attending the event.

Long before creating VVV I was a huge fan of gaming for many years and I've always been a competitive gamer. Before the term "competitive gaming" it was what you made it, a simple score board with 3 initials and some of us took it slightly more seriously than others. Arcade games were the ultimate proving ground, the equivalent of a Lan event open seven days a week.
