Few bits of news.

I have increased the Quetz spawn rate 10x. Please keep an eye out and let me know if you start to notice them and/or if it needs to be reduced. I have only seen 2 of them naturally since they where released.

In addition I have increased egg hatching 3x and baby mature speed 5x (mating interval remains 1x).

Some people have mentioned flyers disappearing or getting lost. I myself have experienced this. 9 times out of 10 what has happened is the flyer has went/flown/landed somewhere other than where we expect. I highly recommend placing a transponder tracker on any flyer you care about. It also helps to land it prior to dismounting and pay attention to it when dismounting to make sure you know where it goes.

Also please keep in mind in accordance with the rules we cannot/will not use admin to recover individual content like this. Of course in the event of a mass issue we will address it as well as we can, but keep in mind this is an Early Release game with custom settings (like faster move speed stats) and so it should be expected that you will lose something at some point.

After some discussion i have decided to keep the server private. Only people who have been invited will be given the password to join. We will be implementing a selection process and start to actively seek new players to join us.

This is important for several reasons. First, we will likely be spending a meaningful amount of time playing this game so its in our best interest to do so with people we enjoy playing with. Secondly, it adds some exclusivity to playing on the [Team DnD] Ark server...which hopefully will attract the type of people we want to play with.

I will this weekend draft up the recruiting message we will use in 3 places. Our group forums, the Server/hosting Steam forums, and the Tribe Recruiting forums. I will create a forum in our group for people who have been invited to the server. Among other things this will provide a way to give everyone the latest password and other news that only people that have joined our server should know.

Tbh, i was excited to open the server up and get new players on, but im even more excited of the prospect of having a private server, where we control the quality of people we spend our time enjoying Ark with. I hope you are excited as I am. Thanks!
