Clan Amish was established in 2000 as a "for fun" Counter-Strike group playing in the late betas through early CS Source. [amish] was an offshoot of Clans [EOAK] and [EGO], which were both competitive in amateur leagues. Clan Amish, as well as [EOAK] and [EGO], originally called Binford and ELord's Counter-Strike server--long defunct--its home and at least one member of those three groups was there at almost all times.

Founding members of Clan Amish were [amish]Ezekiel (slakmehl), [amish]Ezra (spook), and [amish]Abraham (broen).
