Team Vires Australasia was established in January 2012 by John Grgich and Jason Kinnunen, it was formed with the purpose to exhibit Australasian eSports. Originating solely as a Call of Duty team, Team Vires has ventured into several different competitive fields such as Counter-Strike and League of Legends. This has lead to multiple league and LAN titles building on a decorated history in which Team Vires prides itself on.

Team Vires Europe was founded in December 2010 by James Peace and Sean Williams, with the ambition to create a premier racing team. With the organisation’s primary focus on Live for Speed, the team have competed in numerous racing events and have gone on to win multiple podium finishes. Making Team Vires one of the most successful racing teams to date, despite their age.

In August 2012, the organisations saw its amalgamation where the international association was established. Since then Team Vires have moved from strength to strength, proving themselves as a dominant organisation.
