DOD 2?

Not exactly. But the WWII fps genre is witnessing a revival.

There are three games so far making some waves.

The Days of War beta has so far proven the game to be a promising recreation of DoD.

As for Day of Infamy, while it may not be a direct recreation of DoD, it definitely pays homage - and is already publically available.

Battalion 1944 looks very promising as well.

Overall, I doubt any of these games can be worse than Day of Defeat: Source. Considering clans and units are already popping up for all three games, things seem to be off to a good start.
