Scammers have responded by having bots delete discussions on a submission and having bots spam a page to prevent any Unwanted information. This makes it so within seconds any of our comments get buried and never to be seen again. I honestly have no idea what should or even could do.

TL:DR: Valve are adding new features to fight the fake item scams. Valve will also restore all items lost to the fake item scam prior to warnings being posted

I alreadly got 2 friend invites from "someone" who trades on some other "main" account (there's a link on profile's description) his knife for 5-6 grafitti. I wouldn't trust it!
