After nearly a year of development Swat's big day is finally approaching. In a few days, SWAT Reborn will be officially released to the public.

We could use your help making this release great. On the release day, we'd like to get as many people to play the game as possible, as well as rate the map and leave comments. We'll also be posting the news on sites like Reddit and could use help in upvoting it for better exposure. Host pub games and teach people how to play in Normal and Survival. This helps grow the player base and also helps us achieve dedicated servers.

Dota 2 mods get dedicated servers when there are enough simultaneous active users playing it. We're not sure what the threshold is, but it seems to be around 200. We're hoping we can get dedicated servers during this first weekend - so please play and tell your friends!

What is happening to the beta Rank and Renown?

On Tuesday July 12th, all beta players' Rank and Renown will be capped. Renown will max out at 20 and all RCPD unlocks will be maxed at 4.

What is happening with the beta?

The beta will continue to be live for a while, but both the beta game and the beta forums will be closed July 12th. Until then, please continue to play it and report any bug or issue. We want to make sure it's as polished as possible for the big day.

What are the next steps after release?
After release, we will continue adding content up to and beyond SWAT: Aftermath's.
