My friends,

My clan had this idea of doing something special as a christmas event and i thought why not do the same to this wonderfull group of players?

Christmas is a time to gather the family and enjoy the company of the ones we love, but that doesnt mean we should not enjoy the company of each other in the form of an awesome AvP game(s)!

I had 2 ideas in mind and want to know what you guys think about it.

1. Marines vs aliens. We gather 2 teams with ONLY marines and xenos and pit them against each other, and decide who in fact is the strongest specie! Team play and general skill should determine the victor, but the important thing is too just have fun! On alternative we can simply play domination and see who keeps their ground longer!

2. Outpost PIT alien fight.
Every player is an alien. We play on outpost map at the bottom of the pit on a gladiator style event. All aliens gather at the bottom, then 2 players fight each other first, while the others stay on the side walls. The player who wins fights the next opponent, and we rotate all the players to keep fighting. Basically who wins keeps fighting, with no time to heal to make things more interesting. The player who has most kills wins the Xmas event!

These are random thoughts i had about something to do with you guys, and please let me know what you think about it.

Survivor from 2 players perspective with Matriarch's Hive Elite

This will be an experimental tournament not with the tendency to point out the best team but more to change the standard mixed matching and also put some healthy competitive spirit into this, so it doesnt get boring for you guys ;).

I suggest 2 variants so choose which is better:

1.) Teams of 2 players, mixed species, and to win over a team they need 2 won games, but they dont play together, instead the games are 1 vs 1, taking in consideration the same species of opponents play against each other- say 1st teams predator fights 2nd teams predator. And the result is composed by the outcome of these 2 matches, if both players from same team win its 3 points for the team, if each player from both teams win its a draw and they recieve 1 point. There is no elimination, all teams play against all other teams. So it is a team but players play separatelly two 1vs1 games and to win both players from team should win their 1vs1 against other teams members.
Example: players X and Y are a team, and opposing team are players M and N- so we will have 2 matches- Y vs N amd X vs M, and those 2 results determine the winner


2.) Teams of 3 players, mixed species, same principe as in 2 team game but now since teams must be mixed- containing of 1 alien, 1 predator and 1 marine games will be played marine vs marine from other team, pred vs pred and so on. Also the points you win here will be equivalent to the number of wins your team gets, if all 3 members win their 1vs1 your team gets 3 points, if 2 players from your team win you get 2 points and so on.

As i mentioned this is an experimental tournament and it could be interesting to change the standard way of playing, also with a dose of healthy competition, so pls if you have any suggestions or dislikes about this tournament, or would on the other hand like to play it, feel free to express your opinion. :D

Since it is a bit problematic to set exact time to play survivor co-op, feel free to post here if you have a wish for specific map and suggest time for it, then other players can confirm their participance and we can get it on...
