Playlists!

Run the latest update to the Steam Client Beta and you'll find we've added one of your most requested features, Playlists, to Steam Music! Now you can create, play, and manage Playlists using either the desktop or Big Picture interface.

Additionally, users can now access their Music library from within the in-game overlay. Look for the Browse Music icon in the player window.

And lastly in this update, we've added track numbers to album and playlist views.

Remember, Steam's Music features are available to all users who opt into the Steam Client Beta. Give the new features a try, and of course, send feedback our way in the discussions[/url].

Hotkeys for skipping songs and such, drag and drop folder menu, google music integration, and Pandora/local & international radio station integration is what I see in the comments and also what I want in the next few updates. So far, progress for this feature is going well because, I remember a few years ago I wanted to have a feature like this happen because some TF2 servers were able to add radio features but I wanted to play my own music without having to alt+tab and such. :markos:

Should have an option to select the songs by name, not by album or artist.

Please add the ability to browse music the way it's arranged in the filesystem. My collection's a bit esoteric, so the files are arranged in a way that helps me find exactly the song I want better than an artist/album database. Pleeease?

It would be cool if you could skip/pause/play/whatever in the alt tab menu when something is being played on grooveshark or pandora on a seperate browser like chrome
