Can't send pics in Steam Chat App

It started yesterday after I updated Android OS. I don't get an error message. I choose the pic and send it but nothing happens. Anyone else having this problem.

Troubleshooting steps I've done
1) Force stop and restart app
2) Log out and log into app
3) Restart Phone
4) Uninstall and Reinstall app

None of those steps have helped. I have a friend that is also having this problem. She has a Samsung like me but a completely different model. Anyone have anything else we can try?

I also have a Samsung phone (Note 20) and I cannot get pictures to send. I can find and select them (and even choose to spoiler protect them) but I cannot send them. They just disappear if I send a message.

I think it might be the recent the update for the app. I was able to send pictures yesterday. Looking in Google Play I can see that the Steam Chat app updated at 2:48am this morning. Today I can't send pics.

I've only had the app since the latest update, so I've never been able to send photos. You might be right though - it seems like it should work and yet it isn't.

Friend and I also have this issue on our Samsung phones, but another friend with Samsung doesn't. Maybe specific Android versions are affected, or something like that. Never mind that, he also has it now.

Same here. I was using this app before the steam update on android. I can sending pictures about 2 months ago through steam chat app but some reason, i can't send pictures nowadays. I think this is not about a phone or android version. It's all about this app issue. I hope valve can fix this issue asap.

I still have this issue - I think it's from the update, so we probably have to wait until the next one is available.
