oh right totally forgot there are a couple of DIY mods out there fixing homeassets and another one fixing stacks (250) or hack that let you treat it 250 like 999 and some other stuff like weights etc that works for SoD however im playing breakdown now so these doesnt work (therefor i didnt think of these ) ,but updates are on its way for that too :) .the links are broken atm since the UL forum is down. SoD modding page seems down too . you could search online and see if you have any luck or wait for the forums to open again.

doesnt it depend on wether you have a tools expert or not ? i usually make sure i have 1 when its time to move down to snyder so i always get a machine shop ,however the trigger might bug sometimes -but works after a restart or bringing more survivors in after making lilly searched for them.

1=changed my small to be able to carry 10 i dont think it will show 14 items since you will have to modify the file itself( textures and script) -i have modified to have some extra outposts (12) for snyder but it will only show the first 8 in the tab section - same thing will probably happen with the bagpack - its just editing ,change it to 14 and see what happens - if it doesnt work just stick to the ten.

2= you can change the stacks in the items file for every ammo ,however i dont know if the game alters when offline ,items like supressors doesnt want to stay in my inventory when starting to play again

3= this works - i have edited in the lines 10 - 100 - 200


you can edit the home assets to ,i have done that however there is something else you have to change too since lilly says i have to much even if i dont have that - the numbers says its fine but the game doesnt.

remember to start a new game for the new settings :)

you dont need to change those files for that , those mods only changes the .cdf files - go to State of Decay\Game\characters\male\human\story_characters and change the .cdf file to prefered stuff and save ,those changes take effect direct .when starting the game.

There is a program called xml2bmd , out there, you can find it in undead labs forums (its currently down so try the link below ,when working again)

install the program (compiler) - edit xml -save it - drag the xml onto the program -wait a few seconds - voila the bmd is altered .remember to start a new game for it to take effect .
