Guys there is already a concept that the developers have come up with for infinite gaming. The upcoming game mode is called Sandbox. Google it. You do not have to reinvent it, it is coming some time in the future.

I am also a web developer, and it seems to me hat XML is only a precompiled version of the other files that has been compiled to binary for efficiency. Much like .po and .mo files work in websites localisations.

I guess we do not need to open them, but it would make more sense for the developers to compile bmd files from xml, as xml is extremely inefficient. So we just need to find a way to compile our changed xml files into bmd
Does anyone who worked with ctyengine have any ideas how to do it?

In Steam\SteamApps\common\State of Decay\Game\gamedata\libs\class3\items\items.xml I have edited some silencer values to see how it works, but when I loaded the game I did not see any changes.

Do you have any idea what I am doing wrong?

Hello, I have tried to uncompress objects.pak with winrar, but I recieve this error:
! D:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\State of Decay\Game\objects.pak: Unknown method in objects\abstract\solids\x_trees.mtl
for ever single file inside the archive, though I can see the files.
Could you give me an advice what I am doing wrong?
