Failure! Failure! Flipping Failure!
Well, I looked around for a solution and only presented with the same outcome. Once Gamedata.pak is extracted i removed it from C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\State of Decay\Game And added the extracted folder named gamedata in place of the gamedata.pak, then upon launch i receive a failure to launch? i used the SoDET program to extract the gamedata.pak. Am i missing something?

all files and folders from gamedata.pak must be extracted to the following folder:

..\Steam\SteamApps\common\State of Decay\Game\

thus,

..\State of Decay\Game\entities
..\State of Decay\Game\fonts
..\State of Decay\Game\languages
..\State of Decay\Game\libs
..\State of Decay\Game\scripts

You do not need to delete gamedata.pak :
All the loose files you've extracted from gamedata.pak, will be read first by State of Decay,
meaning the loose files have priority over the pak file.
