I want to combine a few mods by combining lines to the files

i have 2 mods that edir search.win.bmd searc xml.
and items.
how would I go about this. do I use a hex editor? I have modded games in the past. a few minor of my own. but I do not have any experiene with hex editors.

basically what I want to do. is combine the two mods by taking the lines added from one and the other coincide

Google "Debohax State of Decay" Your looking for an MPGH link thats my hack, I cant link it in here because links are removed.

Follow the directions and you will understand how to hack the game and be in the right place with the right files. Warning hacking this game is hard because they are computer generated files and use no coding ethics.(Meaning there will be no spaces in the code just lines of code smashed together in a file. Finding the key things needed to enhance the game takes alot of time.
