UPDATE (10/11/11): Scarlet is NOT removing micspam nor will it be limited. However, the group will remain open in the case that things change.

We are a group of SSS members who have banded together to protest the recent removal of micspamming privileges on the server.

Micspam has been disabled, and from the looks of it, indefinitely, unless something is done about it. That is why I created this group, the SSS Micspammers Union, as a way for us to express our anger, frustration, disappointment, what have you, in response to this offensive move. Hopefully, as a group, we can rally together and come up with a way to convince Scarlet that the problems with micspamming thus far can be fixed with less drastic measures and to reinstate micspam ability.

Our principles:
1) Micspamming is a privilege. It should never be used maliciously, but only as a way to share music, funny clips, etc. with other players.
2) Anyone who violates the micspam etiquette should be given proper notice before being muted, and if he or she continues, he or she will be kicked and/or banned.
3) Everyone is allowed to micspam, new or old. There should be no reason why veterans have more of a right to spam than up and coming micspammers, unless they really just suck and won't follow the rules.

1) SSS was founded on freedom to micspam
2) If bank robberies are up at one point (annoying micspams recently), we don't close the banks to everyone to punish the minority. We make a better policing system, better security, to keep the problems from happening so that the good citizens of SSS can carry on with their good micspam.

Yes, I also love the fact that Scar is in the group because I think he can hear us out and give us suggestions/input of his own. This isn't meant to be a "let's hate on Scar for his decision group," but a constructive way to figure out how to resolve the issue of micspam. He said he's not happy with the decision himself, and I think in his position, it was probably reasonable to get rid of it entirely seeing as how all we ever see now are troll spammers spamming over everyone.
