We are running an Offline Raid Protection server.

Some highlights of the server configuration is as follows;

50 slots server hosted in the UK (slots will increase, within reason, with population growth)
Offline Raid Protection - activated 15 mins post logout.

SOS is an ARK Tribe, consisting of mature (number of us are 40+), experienced gamers. We have been involved in a number of community gaming based projects over the years including the professional gaming scene.

Our experience of ARK has been challenging to say the least, playing on official and unofficial servers. The balance of fair play has always been an issue. ARK is a superb game, but without pro-active, and fair, active admins the imbalance has resulted in a frustrating experience.

This is why we have started our own ARK server and are looking to build on our community.

What we like and encourage;
PvP
Online Raiding / sensible conflict
Builders
Large tribes
Community
Eng game / event based activities

What we don't like and WILL NOT TOLERATE;
Blocking of resources (no more blocking metal spawns with metal pillars, or blocking beaver dams etc)
Expansive land claims (we aren't adverse to tribes claiming land for their own building projects, but spamming entire land masses is not acceptable)
Griefing (persistent spawn / newbie killing / storage box blocking)
Building bases on certain areas of interest, such as on top of the Volcano.

We will not be performing any wipes, and will do our best to keep the server updated. The server is under a long term rental and will be privately funded.
