Does this mod still exist?

Sorry for the (what seems to be) necro, but I managed to fix SMOD Redux 10 V2 to an extent (this includes the Lost Coast maps).

You can play the HL2 campaign almost without any problems (only issue that comes to mind is Water Hazard where people can't seem to load save files, which leads to a game crash). I don't know whether I should make a guide about it or not, but it would definitely be interesting to know if people still play this mod nowadays.

Also I do have issues with this version of the mod when it comes to playing the addon maps (there's minimal/no enemy spawns), to which I haven't found any fixes.

The important aspect of this version is that it uses the SteamPipe method of loading/mounting content from the games (through the new "gameinfo.txt" in the mod's files, found in sourcemods/smodredux). This way, MOST (not ALL, unfortunately) assets are loaded in and the main campaign can be played.

The reason I said "most content" has to do with the bonus "Lost Coast" chapter, which took me some time to fix. I noticed that almost all the files related to the map (d2_lostcoast, i.e. materials, NPCs, scenes, etc.) were missing, which clearly meant using gameinfo.txt to load Lost Coast's content wasn't enough. So I had to go and extract its content from the Lost Coast .vpk (the "new GCF" file containing the game's data) using GCFScape and mount it in gameinfo.txt myself.

But THEN I ran into another problem, missing scenes. For this task I used another program called VSIF2VCD, because the "scenes" folder in the .vpk only contained one file, "scenes.image", which needs to be decompiled. VSIF2VCD serves as the decompiler and needs to be used with cmd (Windows Command Prompt) to extract the scenes from "scenes.image".

This post is getting a bit lengthy, so I'm just going to end it here. If you want to hear more from me, feel free to reply.
