The Minecraft Server is a fun Roleplay Server with an Economy, where you can be whoever or whatever you want to be. (Kind of).

The Server is just starting out with a small population. Those of who arrive the earliest are permitted to form Nations in the server and claim any land, any where, that has not yet been claimed. Nations are required to have a capital building, where all politics decisions and laws of that nation are formed and executed from.
A nation may treat it's citizens how ever it wishes, to the point of complaint.
A nation may not harm the fabric and balance of the server itself.
Nations are allowed to have any governmental type they wish, and treat their citizens however they wish until the Citizens file a complaint.
A nation founder may place their nation wherever they wish, However it is suggested that you place your nation far away from others to give each of you breathing room and space with resources.
A nation is granted two special reed papers that represent 2,000,000 Crastas (the name of the server currency) upon creation.

The Server has a country that manages and supervises all activity with complete authority. This small nation is called the Chuhretei. The Cuhretei is a small state that stretches from the ruins of the golden tower and the first set of buildings, to the shores of Cabino Chuhrei where the Imperial Capital is currently being constructed.
The Chuhretei does not intervene in any Nation activity. The Chuhretei's job is soley to protect the server and keep everyone happy, or at least, keep everyone from being unhappy.
The Chuhretei controls the server wide economy and sets prices that all nations must follow.
The Imperial Capital Building contains three divisions, Civil Dispute Department (C.D.D.) The Government Section in the senter, behind it is the Server Economy Chamber, and on the right wing is the Imperial Court.
The Leader of The Chuhretei is called the Chuhrer. He has complete authority over everything and everyone in the server.

In conclusion, you may be whoever or whatever you want in the server, depending on what nation you join or make. The Chuhretei is only to preserve the fabric of the Server and will not interfere with any sort of interaction, be it war or peace between nations.

There are two nations so far officially, people such as Daft357 have decided to form their own nations, but have not officially chosen terrirtory nor built their capital building.

The Kingtom of Mitch (Has not been named yet)- A Nation with an elaborate Capital building built at the edge of a jungle. It's government is Martial Law, and is ruled by Grand Marshall Mitch.
