Win A Knife!

Hey, there!

Do you want to be in with the chance of winning a knife on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive? If so, then read on!

From now on we will be setting out goals, which when achieved we will be giving away skins on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. To be in with the chance of winning, all you have to do is reply to this post with a comment (and obviously be in the Steam group), and once we hit 750 group members a random winner will be selected.

Now... Most communities usually purchase a knife in this aspect and just give it away, however what we're going to do is a little different. We are going to provide a budget to the winner in which they can purchase any skins they want up to the budget whether it be a knife or a cheeky selection of skins to update their inventory with.

The first budget for this competition will be £75!

So get inviting your friends to the group and the winner will be announced as soon as we reach our goal!

Server Upgrade

Yesterday I ordered a server upgrade to fix some of the issues we are having with performance since switching providers.

A lot of the issues are primarily with network but as for some of it, it was due to the processor we were using on our servers. When ordering the server at the time I primarily just wanted as little downtime as possible, so I carelessly purchased a server that wasn't very optimized for hosting game servers.

After a discussion with our hosts, tonight @ 22:30PM GMT, our main 'universe' server will be going down for an estimated 20-30 minutes in order to upgrade our server with better hardware. Now, rest assured, no content from our current server will be lost. All that will be happening is our data drive will be moved over to a better server rather than replacing the hardware, so all should be good on that front and the servers should be back up with no problems.

I personally apologize for the inconveniences caused by this downtime and also by the poor server performance up until now, but we are still in a settling in phase at our new host, although they have been super helpful.

I will keep this thread updated regarding when the downtime is happening and when it will be back up, as well as with (god forbid) details for if anything goes wrong.

Guys, well, idk why I didnt post this earlier:

I was Staffmanager in the Surf EU server in Glorified Gaming also later on in Surf EU Mythical Gaming.

As you know, Glorified Gaming is down. The follower, Mythical Gaming is Down. But I didnt want to take this as an "End" so I founded "Unforgotten Gaming" and its new Servers & Forum.

I built a PC for being the Host for the new Servers and Forum - 24/7
The following servers are hosted by me: Surf EU, Bhop EU, Kz EU and CS:S Surf EU.

Unforgotten Gaming is the heritage of Glorified Gaming and Mythical Gaming.
I spent some years in the Communities and loved it very much.

I do host the Forum https://unforgottengaming.net - a new place for us to hang out.
Please add me in steam or register to the forum and let us write a new story of an great adventure as we used to do in Glorified & Mythical Gaming.
YOU ARE MY FRIENDS FROM GLORIFIED and I dedicated this Community only because of you guys <3
