Im happy to annouce we will be holding our annual RZ Rust Olympics Tomorrow starting 8pm EST.

Event Schedule (EST):
8 - 8:15pm - setup, preparations
8:15 - 8:45pm - javelin throwing event
8:45 - 9:15pm - parkour challenge event
9:15 - 9:45pm - shooting range competition
9:45 - 10:15pm - 7 layer maze
10:15 - 10:45pm - melee arena
10:45 - 11:15pm - island car race
11:15 - 11:45pm - rocket tower
11:45 - 12:00pm - rocket demolition derby
12:00pm and up - party at ghoul's mansion and general ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for whoever left

The event is planned for a 4 hour time span - depending on how many players will participate we might shorten the time slots and/or skip events if needed.

1. Participation in each event required pre-registration (to register to an event ask an admin please) - players that did not register up to the specific event's start time will not participate in the event.

2. during each event participants of the event must be present in the RZ discord in a dedicated chat channel for the event participants - participants that are not in the discord will not be allowed to take their turn.

3. all participants must start naked and spawn in the arena spawn points (admins wll bag participants). no clothing, no items... food and drink will be provided in the vending areas for torches and rocks

4. AI and airdop/heli will be disabled, all resources removed from the map.

Javelin Arena:
Up to 3 players per round, each throws a spear in turn, furthers throw wins the round. Winners then compete for arena winner spot.
Max Slots: 20

Parkour Challenge:
One player at a time goes into the parkour. Admins time from start point till exit point. If u fall/die you can retry until the 5 min timer expires.
Max Slots: 10

Shooting Range:
One player at a time goes in. Player is given bolty, 10 rounds and a x4. Hitting targets with x4 causes 75% penalty on the point for the shot. Player may not take shot before admin clears to take shot. Points as follows:
- target 1 - ~100m - 100pt (25 with x4)
- target 2 - ~150m - 200pt (50 with x4)
- target 3 - ~200m - 400pt (100 with x4)
- target 4 - ~270m - 800pt (200 with x4)

most points win the event. tie will be resolved with winning rounds
Max Slots: 10

7 Layer Maze:
Killing in the maze is allowed, if you are killed you may spawn/re-enter until the 30 min timer hit and the doors close. Players must traverse the maze to its core, retrieve 1 bleach item from the treasure chest and come back out the exist way with the item. Admin will time each player from the minute the doors open until they exit WITH the bleach and give it to the admin.

Player with the shortest time wins the event.

Max Slots: Unlimited.

Melee Arena:
Each round up to 6 players with random melee tool, 2 syringes and wooden kit. Winners then compete for the event.
Max Slots: 30

Island Car Race:
Participants start in the car garage, when green light is given basic 3 lap car race starts via 7 gates. first place wins the event. Admin will monitor that all participants go via gates in order.

Max Slots: 6

Rocket Tower:
Winners of the 6 initial arenas are allowed to compete in rocket tower game;
players start in central gazebo, when code is given they run to their towers. In the top of each tower will be provided 10 launchers, 100 rockets and a sleeping bag.
last player that can stand in their own crow's nest wins the event.

Max Slots: Reserved


Demolition Derby:
All participants get a car a launcher and 20 rockets and derby around the small island. (test round will be done as well). Last person to remain alive wins.

Max Slots: 10

As many of you know, we've been experimenting with wipe schedules. After hours of the admins fist fighting amongst themselves, we've decided to revert back to bi-weekly wipes for [Prime]. Now both servers will wipe every two weeks, and they are on the same schedule. gg ez pz.

Belated announcement!

RZ East Coast [Prime] wiped yesterday (2/9/2017). Both [Prime] and [Aux] will wipe next week (2/16/2017). Vending machines and functional armored door hatches have been added! As always, you can read more on the devblog[playrust.com] or at Rustafied[www.rustafied.com]!

The server wiped today, and there is a lot of new ♥♥♥♥ in the update. To learn more about the update, you can read more on the devblog[t.co] or at Rustafied[www.rustafied.com]!

We'll be launching a new, small pop/'noob friendly' server to our menu :) The new server will reintroduce the No Griefing, No Base Takeover, and Max Group Size (5 players) rules. The new server will be called RZ East Coast [Aux] and it will wipe every two weeks.

We are also changing our original server (now called RZ East Coast [Prime]) to weekly wipes.

The server will get an update and will be wiped today. We will wipe the server whenever FacePunch releases their update, which is typically around 3pm - 5pm EST. You can follow along on the devs' progress by watching Rustafied's update stream[www.twitch.tv], and we will announce when the server is good to go on the RZ East Coast Discord channel[discord.gg].

We are removing the No Griefing and Base Takeovers Require New TCs rules.

But Why?!
After much discussion, we believe the server rules should reflect how the devs have designed the game. As a sandbox survival game, if the game allows it, you should be able to do it.

What Does This Mean?!
The rules are much simpler now. Quickly:

• No racism, sexism, homophobia, etc.
  
• No VAC bans. No game bans.
  
• Hackers and any associated players will be banned.
  
• Repeated offenders will be banned.
