The Government played on Pickle Vanilla Monthly for their June 2022 wipe.

The first Government President had been elected that month. Presidents had previously been "determined by their rank score."

There had been two "great months" leading up to June, but it was explained that there had been a "build up" of "lots of new people coming in", which were "recruited too fast", resulting in "a rise in social tension", so "the Civil War happened in Jun '22 which resulted in a lot of bans and people leaving which explains that big spike and then the immediate low for the next few months. The months after that were kind of the "get back to the basics" with a smaller group." One player recalled that there had been a factional dispute. There's speculation that the Government may have hit the so-called group ceiling. The end of this wipe also marked the end of the early Government-Pickle era.
