I believe this hotel was built by FBI and one of their friends. It was across the road from an Oxum's Gas Station, hence the name. It was operational by 12th May 2023 (probably a few days earlier), and wasn't too far from a spawn beach. The builders seemed to be on good terms with the nearby Government village; it was local to Zap Zone.

Unfortunately the nearby base where the builders were sleeping was in disrepair, so it's not clear if the hotel saw long-term use, but I noticed an occupant in atleast one room. The hotel was built on the Rustopia US Large server which had a culture of hotels such as one built by Bandit.

The lobby featured atleast two sentry guns that appeared to be set to peace mode. There was a Chippy machine, although it had no highscore when I checked it on 13th May. There was a level 2 workbench and water barrel that had a hose connection. There was also a research table, and a humorous spinning wheel that could either land on "1 day free rent" or "evicted" when spun.

The rooms appeared to include a bed, grill, atleast three large boxes, furnace, and a locker. The building was one of the first to feature the new Adobe stone wall skin, which costed £10.39 at the time. The hotel was a well known player-made landmark (atleast locally).

Player interactions
The hotel appeared to be raided by 19th May 2023 - the walls of some rooms were missing or replaced with wood, and atleast one window was gone. The garage door which acted as the entrance and had been left open was now replaced by a sheet metal double door which was left closed. Atleast the top 3 levels were gone by 22nd May. The wipe ended on 2nd June, by which point nothing was left of the building, and a wall had been built around the gas station by the Government.
