The server browser in October 2024 showed 2,607 servers, of which 1,814 were in the Modded section.

A popular modification to the gameplay is an increase in resource gathering rates on some servers (such as 2x, or 10x) though there are some Community servers that also have increased gather rates.

Around a quarter of Modded servers are PvE servers. Minigame servers can be found in the Modded section - about 1 in 100 are for practicing firefights, called Battlefield servers; and similarly, around 1 in 100 servers are used to practice building, called Build servers. Around 1 in 50 servers have the tag No BPs.

Common features in Modded servers include teleportation, and the ability to spawn with items, or claim items with a chat command (referred to as kit) which often have skins already applied to them.
