The Government played on /r/PlayRust – US Monthly for their Jan 2023 wipe.

The wipe would have started on 5th Jan, and ended on 2nd Feb. It may have been referred to as "the reddit wipe". There was a partial loss of interest in playing on the reddit server because an /r/PlayRust mod had been abusive to Government members.

One of the only documented moments of the wipe was when a spy made a video of a Government raid.
