The Government is a public group that attracts international members due to its democratic features, which brings it a mixture of different ideas and friend groups; civil conflict (either in-game, or in the Discord server) is not uncommon. In Jan 2024 a member commented: "I've never seen a group successfully merge with gov. Their group always comes first and it always become a them vs gov thing." The Government ban court system often puts an end to civil conflicts, although disgruntled members have been known to shadow the Government even after being banned from the Discord server. It could be argued that civil wars have shaped the culture of the Government, as it was more or less born out of a civil war.
