Negotiations in Regensburg

The idyllic town of Regensburg, Bavaria, has recently been harbouring some of the staples of Central European diplomacy, when the German minister of foreign affairs, Joachim von Ribbentrop, confered with his Hungarian counterpart Kálmán de Kánya. It was conjointly agreed upon that the axis Budapest-Berlin would be established, and that the Kingdom of Hungary would thenceforth be a member of the German-led Axis Pact.
Furthermore, a deal of mutual military assistance has been concluded: Hungary has been assured of German support in the case of any regional or international altercation, while Hungary will neither diplomatically nor militarily intervene in any conflicts, be they defensive or offensive, against the German government. Additionally, the heavy industry of Hungary is going to produce armour and technology for the German allies until further notion.
