Help us bring back a source mod worth reviving!

(Disclaimer: I am NOT, nor do I claim to be the owner/developer of Resistance & Liberation mod. The RnL homepage, which lists those who created the mod, is listed on the side of the summary.)

Resistance & Liberation is source mod WWII battle simulator that immerses the player into a realistic 1940's war atmosphere, where teamwork and carefully devised tactics are needed to win the battle. The mod is ahead of it's time, and is quite impressive for a mod derived from source.

The stunning realism of Resistance & Liberation has caught the attention of many players looking for serious combat gameplay, as well as comedic gamers such as the well-known, Criken (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtVSmLkaNBg). It was Criken's gameplay video of RnL that sparked it's huge popularity. Small details such as extremely high damaging guns, proximity voice chatting (can be heard by both teams), and gun controlling give the mod an extremely realistic feel, which causes both epic AND hilarious moments. But over a year later, RnL's community began to dwindle down. Resistance & Liberation now only consists of 1 or 2 active servers, and only one of the servers is being widely used at a time.

Our desired goal in this group is to urge RnL players to convince their Steam friends to try out the mod, and help bring back Resistance & Liberation's well deserved popularity, in order to hopefully grab the attention of the developers. The purpose of doing this, is to give the developers a reason to keep RnL up to date, and to hopefully get Steam itself to recognize the mod.

Even if the mod doesn't reach the point of being put into Greenlight we'll all be happy with Resistance & Liberation being active, and with a larger community once more.

I've been advertising the group in-game and on several forums, but it doesn't seem like enough. So I'll get right to the point: If any of you could spread the word about the group and the mod to wherever you feel necessary, please do so. I'm trying to not let the group dry out, so I hope that you'll take part in spreading word about RnL and Operation Revival.

Since I just got Assassin's Creed 3 for my Xbox I'll been spending a lot less time on the computer, so I'll be on a bit less and less prodective in terms of group progression.
But this doesn't mean you can't be active either! Don't forget to tell your friends about RnL. If you're tired of hearing me say that ♥♥♥♥ over and over, tell your friends to tell THEIR friends about RnL. Think of this group as.... HIV. Actually, don't think of it like that at all.

The Black Plauge is a much finer example. Give your friends the Black Plauge, and soon EVERYBODY will have it! HOORAY!
