My heart beat rapidly, I could see the figure behind me. My mind told me to swim, but I stood there frozen. I could barely make out that the figure was an alligator. But I closed my eyes in desperation waiting for the figure to end my life. Hold up. Let's go back to the beginning. My names Carlos. I'm a catfish. I love my owners and the place where I live. My owners are pretty cool. Their names are Rebecca and Ben. They put me in this huge fishbowl I could play around in. It was amazing. My life was amazing. Until the baby came. I don't know how it got there, or why my owners let it come. But one day it just showed up like it owned the place. I don't know why, but it seemed like my owners liked the small devil more than me. They cuddled him, they fed him, they cleaned him. They never did that stuff for me. I was furious. I tried yelling at the baby but, I can't really talk. The baby looked at me, and then picked me up. I was like,"Woah Woah Woah." I knew what the baby was going to do. He looked at the window, then at me, then chucked the fish bowl outside the window. I tried to scream, as my body flailed through the air. The wind blowing into my face. It kind of felt good, until I realized that fishes don't survive outside of water. I panicked. I was still falling, and if i did nothing I would either suffocate or go splat on the floor. Suddenly, I saw it. It was a trampoline. I had no clue why it was outside, but I saw the baby jump on a small version of a trampoline. I aimed for the trampoline. My body bounced off the trampoline and right into the sewer. "Great." I thought. It was so dirty down there. Disgusting droppings on the wall. The water was nasty. There were clamshells on the floor. What kind of cruel person puts clamshells in the sewer. I didn't know what to do. I was away from my owners and I was scared. The sewer tunnels were the most disgusting thing ever. I was used to clean fish bowls, and clean food, and toy clamshells in my bowl. But none of those things were here. I started getting tired, so I decided to sleep now, and think about what to do in the morning. I woke up rattled. I swore I heard something. I looked to my left, and I saw the biggest alligator ever. I knew people said there were alligators under the New York sewers but I didn't believe them. I swam as fast as I could. I could hear the alligator breathing on me. I swam faster than Usain Bolt when he is running. I saw this clown right in front of me, asking me if I wanted a balloon, but I just ignored him. Crazy New Yorkers I thought. But I still had to run. Then I saw it. My escape. It was a jug of water. I jumped straight in. There was a sewage worker there too. He picked up his jug of water, and left as soon as he saw the alligator. The man yelled at the top of his lungs which was pretty annoying for me. I looked around in amazement, the outside world never looked better(mostly because I spent a day in a sewer). But I still had to find my owner. Then I saw her. It was Rebecca. I tried to motion to her somehow but, I was a catfish. The sewage worker was telling everyone not to go or look into the sewers because there was an alligator. Rebecca saw the sewage worker, then saw me. She came up to the sewage worker, slapped him in the face, and said,”Never steal my catfish again!” Finally I was back with my owner. It never felt better. Rebecca never found out that the little devil child threw me out the window, but I was happy that I was back home. I was back with my clean water, my toy clamshells, and my clean food. I knew never to mess with that child again. Then everything went back to normal. I ate, played for a little, slept. I didn’t go near the child. It was starting to go back to my normal life, and I loved it. Until the dog came.

There ones live a catfish who was very young and lonely. Everybody who saw the cat fish told him you look uglier than a very brown colored dead clamfish. The cafish got told that so many times he wanted to die. He got depression his family told him that he is very handsome and he has an amazing personality. He didnt listen and went to search for boats and hook or anything sharp to kill himself with. When he was looking for the sharp thing he met another catfish who looked a little like him but the cat fish was a girl. So he asked the girl what are you doing in so high waters? the girl anwsered quitle and scared - for any bowl to go inside to stay away from evil people. So the boy said but there is one right under us it looks like a fishbowl. The girl said very happily- Thank you so much. but why are you here? the boy anwsers im going trhough a depression i want to kill myself. the girl said how? your very handsome and nice. the boy said nobady has every said so nice things about me exept my family. So then they realised they were in love and went to live in the fishbowl for the rest of their life. they live happily ever after

Yesterday, I bought a new fish. To be precise; a catfish. He is really looking awesome and his name is Jack. I called him Jack, because of my grandfather, who died recently, also was called Jack. I really miss my grandpa, so I thought why don't I call my fish Jack? So today I went to school, my parents fed my new fish and then, while I was writing an exam, my phone rang. It were my parents. My father said: ''Jack, is stuck in the clamshell!''. But I explained him that I couldn't really leave. As soon as my lesson was finished, I went home. I didn't really care about the following lessons, because I absolutely loved Jack. So when I arrived at home, I saw my new catfish, stuck in the clamshell, in my fishbowl. I grabbed the fishbowl, ran to the kitchen and filled the sink with water. I put my fish in there (with the shell) and tried to pull it out. After half an hour, my father said: ''Try it with some butter!''. I opened the fridge, took the butter, and rubbed it onto the fish. It worked! My fish was free!

Read here for happy ending:
So after my fish was free, I put it back into the fishbowl and fed him. A few days later I saw that he was fat enough, that he wouldn't get stuck again in the clamshell. So after all, I put the clamshell back into the bowl.

:steamhappy:

Read here for sad ending:
But my fish felt cold. Also, I didn't feel any heartbeat. So, a few days after Jack, my grandpa died, also Jack, my fish did. My parents and I buried him next to grandpa. Two Jacks in one week was to much for me.

Matt, our beloved boy who has social anxiety. He's living alone by the suburbs of New York City, just going to work and then spending time at his computer. Because of his anxiety, Matt doesn't have anyone. Well not fully true because he has this passion, passion to collect clamshells. He thinks about the clamshells in such a different way than we do. He sees them as people. He even made a huge special fishbowl for them. That fishbowl is as big as a car. But why is it so big? Well Matt's shells, as I said, they are special for him. He even gave them names. He wants them to ''feel'' as good as real humans. He even gave them pets, more accurate, fish pets. To his beloved one, called Lucy, he gave a catfish so beautiful and majestic with a beautiful emerald green color that even Matt couldn't keep his eyes away.

One day, while scrolling through some socialmedia websites, an add pops up saying: Find the ONE! Matt's thinking that it wouldn't hurt him to try it out so he made a profile and started checking it out. There were so many gorgeous girls there, all of them out of his league...He kept on searching and he couldn't believe it. He had found a girl that was also collecting clamshells and incredibly her name was Lucy, his favorite clamshell. That right moment he texted her and told her everything about his collection. She replied after a few hours saying she really wants to meet and maybe get to know each other. He agreed and next day he went on to wait for her at a local restaurant but she never came. When he returned home, all his clamshells were gone. A note was left behind: "It was just a catfish baby. Signed, Lucy''

for a long time ago there was a catfish and its very happy but people likes clamshell more then catfishes so the catfish has found a fishbowl and destroyed every calmshell in the world but there was a problem the catfish can not go to every contry and destroy it all so it just said "in life i cant do what i want but i have family" and then the catfish lived in a fishbowl with a clamshell beside and they get best friends. END

Around and Around the catfish swimmed inside the fishbowl. The calmshell at the bottom lay still as usually. He used to talk with the calmshell and not be bored as now, but one day the calmshell did like go to a very long sleep and the catfish is even today waiting for his friend. But now the catfish bored looked out the glas and for the first time he didn't feel bored. A plastic looking thing with water, a human holding it, and a fish inside. A new friend. The beutiful golden shining fish jumped down in the water and loked around.
- Hi, the catfish said
- Hi, said the other fish.
They talked for hours about the castel to hide in and the calmshell, about the plants and soon about all fun they would have. And yes, fun they had, all time, swimming around. Until...
One day Golden swimmed out of the castel and found the catfish floating upside down. He thought he slept, but soon the human took him. Today is it not the catfish, it is the golden fish that is swimming around and around bored of life.

One day the catfish was swimming in his fishbowl. Suddenly he's falling into a large area of water. He looks around thinking "where is this place?" Suddenly he realizes his lucky clamshell is missing! He searches and searches and searches some more but he can't find it.

Then he sees dolphin. He asks, "Hey, have you seen a clam shell?"

Dolphin replies, "Sorry I haven't."

Then catfish asks shark, "Hey shark, have you seen a clam shell?" "Sorry I haven't," replies shark. He looks and looks but he can't find it.

Then sea snail comes along and says, "Hey I've seen a clam shell." Catfish says "You have? where?" Sea snail goes very slowly over. Sea snail travels for a long time and then Great white shark comes along.

"What are you doing?" Great white shark asks. "I am trying to find my lucky clam shell.

"Oh," replies shark, "I've seen it. Here i will give you both a ride." Great white shark lets them climb onto his flipper and finally they see it. "Yay," said catfish and in the end they all became friends.
