Hussle and Motivate: In Memory of Nipsey Hussle (1985-2019)

As most of you may know, Nipsey Hussle was
a husband, father, rapper, friend, and inspirer.
Nipsey was murdered outside his clothing store
in Los Angeles at the age of 33. For many,
Nipsey was more than a rapper. Nipsey’s real
name was, Ermias Asghedom. In recent years,
Nipsey made it his mission to create jobs and
educational opportunities in his hometown that
would provide a pipeline for other to beat the
odds and work towards creating generational
wealth. Nipsey was shot outside one of his
business ventures – also the location where he
met is first wife: Lauren London. This detail
only heightens the tragedy. This area was an
area that Nipsey was working hard to rebuild.
Not only was he shot, but he was shot in front
of his own daughter.
Last year, Nipsey created Vector 90 to
create links between young talent from impoverished neighborhoods and opportunities in
Silicon Valley
