Resident Evil Outbreak, or Biohazard Outbreak (バイオハザード アウトブレイク) in Japan, is a survival horror game with online playability for the PlayStation 2. This game was the first in the Resident Evil series and the first survival horror game to feature cooperative gameplay and online multiplayer support, and depicts a series of episodic storylines in Raccoon City, set during the same general time period as Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3.

>Didn't the servers got shutdown?
They did, Capcom shut down the American servers for Outbreak on December 31, 2007 (March 31 for EU and US servers in File #2) and the Japanese servers on June 30, 2011.
Recently an independent group is bringing the online back again. "OBsrv" is currently hosting a homebrew server for the Japanese version of File #2, currently in beta status, players can already connect and play.
