Virtual Trainspotting

Well, just as I was getting into the swing of things with the blog my laptop kicked the bucket.

I don't know if TS2014 stressed it out or if it was World of Tanks instead. Perhaps it was just its time.

At any rate I have replaced it with a nice desktop tower from Asus with room for upgrades. On the downside the graphics card it shipped with, an integrated Intel model, underperforms compared to the one that was in the graphics card.

As such I cannot properly play TS2014.

In a slow process I'm going to be upgrading the tower to play the game. I'll be installing a SSD to put the game on, upgrading the 4GB of RAM into 8GB and then installing a new graphics card, hopefully Nvidia.

Until all of that gets accomplished the blog, and this group, are going to go quiet. However, when I do get back I'm hoping to be capable of recording scenario playthroughs and posting commentary too.
