Of course, it's the logic that we want to be the best we can, but everyone has a good and bad side. I consider authenticity a good side, though.

Be yourself, that's good enough. Don't try to be something you aren't, you'll never please anyone either way and the ones you end up pleasing will be because you're pretending to be something you aren't in nature, so it's better to stay true to yourself and be in peace with your conscience.
