Well kindness can be a sort of Grey line in a that what might be considered kind from one perspective might be considered not kind to another perspective. there is kindness that is given because the person showing that kindness is expecting it to come back around to them at some point so it could be described as "kindness for expected kindness".

then there is kindness because the individual wants the receiver to be happy or at the very least show a somewhat positive reaction. this could be called "Kindness for positive response" and this makes the person giving kindness feel happy.

of course there are over types of kindness that walk the Grey line in this black and white world, but steam has a word limit and i'd rather not have to retype all of this.
