Formed in 2009, after months of organising offline, behind the scenes both founders "Inflam3" and "Xelitez" put together ideas and previous team logs to bring R1 Gaming to life and compete in Counter-Strike: Source. We invited the more 'matured' players which had been in previous teams of both founders, started to form the team into shape looking for new recruits to put the shape into place.

We welcome all players with a friendly and enjoyable time at R1 Gaming with plenty to keep up on.

On Monday 31st August, we are looking into purchasing a Match server for the team instead of purchasing our hosting, which will be delayed by approximately a week. Due to trouble with donations.
