Bottom for sure. It's cake to aim upward compared to how unreliable it is to shoot downward. Also, if someone is above you, you can play mind games with jumping up to shoot them, and if you can fire upward at an angle than even more advantage to you. You can also throw your weapon upward, or even in an arc while you barely peek over the ledge theyre on in your jump.
