While I don't quite recall the times of ZF or PH, I do recall a whole lot of fun on random ass maps that took my slow internet ages to download - but once they did, plenty of fun with plenty of compatriots. Pleasant times on the xenon maps (harbl_hotel, mario_kart & cyberpunk, where yours truly sung the (in)famous Saturday Morning Spammen, which is a day I recall fondly, as I took the day off school lol) and on all the other maps as well. Yes, even balloon race. Oh god, balloon race. And whatever control point map allowed engineers to build through the gates at spawn and basically just soft lock the game in warm up by capturing points lol. Plenty of fun. Oh and the micspam.
While the server is long since dead in the ground and the memorial had, it holds a special place in my heart for being there in my adolescence. Thanks for providing a place to mess around and have fun. It was great to be a part of this community.
