If it's Payload: A total of 4 maps is comfortable. Most people aren't interested in playing every single map created. Instead most of us players like to roam a few select maps that we understand. So with that in mind I think 4 maps is the right size for our rotation.

Possibly 5 or 3. By the time you complete 4 standard maps it's been a couple of hours and you need to do something else.

Badwater is a seasoned favorite but there are plenty of other servers running that map. I would stick with Barnblitz, Goldrush, Upward and Frontier.

Another possibility is Hightower.

If it's CP we want to run with... Badlands, Granary, Steel and of course Dustbowl.
Most of these are popular maps and should draw a crowd if we join *without* our clan tags.

Players love a good ranking system, no cheats, no game alterations and a good admin staff to keep the sour grapes in check. Most of all, these maps I've listed. (except maybe Steel but I think it's a brilliant map)
