Else, rightclick the game - manage cd keys.

You can only use the key once. It may of auto tied to a different social club account. If your steam is already linked via RDR2, LANoire, Maxpayne3. Make sure you are on the correct steam account.


If you've owned and played the game for days/weeks/months/years and the error has magically appeared - it can be for a variety of other reasons ----- this include wrong date/time/timezone on pc/possibly relative to SC profile info, background programs (cleanboot windows via msconfig), server issues (may have to wait/check server status/try later), connectivity issues, bloatware (clean), malware/adware (clean, it happens), av/security (some av/sec software can erroneously cause issues with gtav, especially if they recently updated), ip/dns/isp/regional issues, os issues, and more. Can be annoying to troubleshoot depending on cause.
